Day 1 - Thursday May 15

First day on the tour, and we headed down to Gothenburg to pick up our buddy Robert. We bring him along as our merch guy/drunk.
The show was in Malmö, in the south of Sweden, and we got the pleasure to play the very first show at the new autonom activity center in the city.
Playing in Malmö meant meeting our touring buddies in Enemy Alliance, and also a whole bunch of other friends too. Really sweet!
On the bill were us, Dead Vows and Sista Sekunden. Awesome lineup, if you ask me! We played second, and since Sista Sekunden had a release gig for their new record, they got to play last. They tore the place down! Our show was a typical first-show-on-tour, with some mistakes, some too long pauses between songs, but in overall a decent gig. The crowd seemed to enjoy us, and hopefully we can come back again. After the gig, we stayed at the venue, had some beers and had a great time with our buddies. Our booker, Mathias, took us to his house where we stayed that night. Thank you, Malmö!

Day 2 - Friday May 16

Up in the morning with me (Geir) sporting the mother of all hangovers. The paint job on the van and also some certain streets of Malmö got a real treat...
Aaaaewhh! Today we left Sweden, and headed down to Bergkamen in Germany. Dave of Horrorbiz Records put up a show for us in a little venue called Yellowstone.
It was really nice meeting him, and he made us feel very welcome. There were five bands on today's bill, which meant we had to wait for quite a while before
we could play. No problem for us, because we could have some beers and watch some nice bands. Our show was much better than the day before - we switched some songs, and also got a better flow in our set. There were quite a lot of people, and they liked us, I think. We even got to play an encore, so I guess we made some impression, at least. After the show, the usual thing - having some drinks, hanging, and talking to nice people. I love it! We stayed the night at a hostel, where we slept the sleep of the happy drunk. Thank you, Bergkamen!

Day 3 - Saturday May 17

We celebrated Norway's national day with going to our second home out of Sörmland. This was the third time we visited Holland, and today's show was at
De Buze in Steenwijk. We arrived really early, so we just parked the van and went strolling around the city. After strolling for a while, our Sörmlaenian
habits got the best of us, and we headed to a bar. After the alibi-coffee, we had some nice Duvels, and when we left there, we were a little buzzy and nice.
We went back to the venue, and got greeted by a super-friendly guy, Matheun, who had the venue. We had some more coffe, and set up our gear. Tonight we were hooking up with our dear dutch buddies from Smash the Statues again, and that was really nice. Dirk "Trilob" and his girlfriend Cindy also showed up.
It's always good to be among friends. It makes playing less nervous, but you also want to do your best for them.
The line-up tonight was a little different from what we usually see. We were feeling like a soft-pop band after hearing the others play.
Pretty cool to encounter some different types of bands. Our show was pretty good tonight as well, despite us being a little odd-man-out.
They liked us even though we were a little softer than the other bands. After the show - same procedure as always.
Then we loaded the van, forgot Robert's hat, and Mathias's extra drumheads... We went to Matheun's house in Zwolle, stashed our bags and such, and headed
to a bar downtown. A nice night out, indeed. Thank you, Steenwijk!

Day 4 - Sunday May 18

Today's show was also in Holland. This time at the ACU in Utrecht, where we played the first time we were in Holland. Really nice venue. The line-up today
was similar to yesterday in the sense that we were the soft guys in an ocean of hardness. The other bands played really good shows, though, and we got us
a real musical treat. Before the show started, we had some time to take a walk in the city, this time not letting the Spirit of Sörmland grab us by
our livers. We sat next to a canal just watching boats pass us by, people out on their sunday walk and such. Very soft and mellow times going on there.
Back at the venue, we turned back into our own, bad selves and played a solid punk-set. The crowd wasn't that big, but it seemed they enjoyed our set.
We certainly enjoyed playing! A guy called Nous also came to the show and took some nice photos of us.
After the show, we had a nice dinner, and we hung out for a while, meeting and talking to nice people. We also met a couple of people who might help us with a little project later on. (Concerning us releasing more punk-anthems...) We headed off over to Dirk's place, where he was really kind letting us stay. He fed us with beer and snacks, and we really had a good time hanging with him and Cindy.
Thank you Utrecht!

Day 5 - Monday May 19

Off we went to the city of love - Paris. We were really early again, so we just parked the van and headed into the city center by metro. When in Paris, you
obviously have to go to the Eiffel Tower. Of course we did just that, taking some band photos with the tower in the background. We also took some
time to grab a coffee, doing it the tourist way. In the capital of France, we had the poor taste to choose Starbucks over any local café. Modern society time
efficiency... We headed back to the venue where Matt, the promoter, had arrived. The venue, Le Rocher, is in the suburbs of Paris, situated in the area of
the end station on the metro line. This, he thought, made people hesitate to come to shows there. Too bad, really. It was a pretty cool place, small playing
room with no stage. Really intimate. Micke kept saying it felt like the living room of his grandmother. I just don't understand why his grandmother would have red velvet walls, no windows, and chains attached to various places... The other band tonight was Crossing the Rubicon. They were really good, and I got The Bronx vibes from hearing them. Really good! We met some guys from Jetsex, another great french band, and we had a good time hanging out.
We also met a girl who spoke Swedish, studying it in school or something. Really cool. She was a promoter of shows, and she also was a radio producer. She had played our music on a show dedicated only to the swedish punkscene. Awesome! About the speaking swedish thing, it's a little scary sometimes. If you say something stupid in swedish, thinking nobody understands, and then there's somebody who comes up to you saying - "Tjena läget. Jag var utbytesstudent i Kalmar! Idiot" in fluent swedish. Scary.
I didn't know what to expect from the show, but it turned out to be incredible! Not much people, but there was love in the air! People knew our lyrics,
we played really well, and all people in the room, including ourselves, had the happiest smiles on our faces. Totally awesome! Because the venue was so small,
it didn't matter that the crowd wasn't huge. After the show we hung out for a while, but unfortunately we had to leave Paris and drive to Tours afterwards.
Since we were going to Spain the next day, we wanted to cover some ground, or otherwise we would have to drive over 1000 kilometers the next day. In Tours, we had hotel reservations, and we just crashed into bed. Thank you Paris!
