"The New Wind and the Second Wave" - CD

Split interamente dedicato all'hardcore melodico per questa coproduzione europea (No Reason per l'Italia) che vede all'opera due gruppi scandinavi: Enemy Alliance e The Indecision Alarm. Due gruppi "nuovi" ma con esperienza davendere alla spalle visto che per i primi si parla di un gruppo formato da ex membri di Satanic Surfers (con Rodrigo!) e Venerea mentre per i secondi trattasi di 3/4 degli Adhesive.

Lo start è con gli Enemy Alliance e si parte subito forte. Sei pezzi che faranno sicuramente felici gli amanti di queste sonorità con almeno un paio di pezzi sopra la media (l'iniziale deflagrante "Apparatus of repression" con un killer chorus e l'ottima "Sacrifice") con tanto groove e un tiro micidiale.

Per gli Indecision Alarm invece il discorso è complementare: infatti iniziano piano ma escono alla distanza. I sei pezzi proposti sono leggeremente più elaborati e meno immediati ma quando arrivano a destinazione riescono a colpire l'ascoltatore quanto i loro partner di split. Ottime poi "Where every fucking dream is killed" e "Rod of iron".

Uno split quindi sicuramente consigliato agli amanti del genere che potranno andare sul sicuro con queste due band.

The start is for EA and it start fast immediatly. Six tracks who will make happy all the fans of these sounds, with surely two songs over the top (the cool “Apparatus of Repression” with a killer chorus and the cool “Sacrifice”) with a loot of groove and great power. About TIA: they start slower and come out step by step. The six tracks are a litlle bit more studied and less immediate, but they can shot the listener when they’re arrived, like their split mates. Very cool “Where every fuckin’ dream is killed” and “Rod of iron”. A split for all the fans of the genre, who can be sure with these two band
