From the union of 7 labels from all over the Europe (NoReason Records for Italy) come out this split cd, who make my stereo to return on melodic hc stuffs. It’s proposed by 2 bands from Sweden borned in the last two years from the split up of their past projects. The past is called Satanic Surfers, Venerea and Adhesive, so who loves these bands, and I can remeber they were appreciated a lot, can be ready to listen them. 6 tracks each one, at firsts Enemy Alliance, that I want to say immediatly I prefer. The five guys, who have Rodrigo and Frederik from Satanic Surfers and Dana and Flygare from Venerea in its team, was borned two years ago and this is its debut release. It’s unusual to say they’re at the debut: melodic hc of high quality and great power, that I appreciate more than the last Satanic works. Complicated lyrics, politicals and gritty, who speaks about desolated lands, violence for urban warriors and also about music business. As good punkrocker as I am, I can notice that with lyrics like these the songs can’t be so “sing-along”, this is the only negative aspect. A great impact work, definetly. Then is the moment of The Indecision Alarm, formed by ¾ of the Adhesive (I’ve never heard about them). This is their second work after a debut EP: good melodies, but less power and a little be boring (for me). Also for them, political lyrics who speaks about modern society and its crashes, false progress and a general view like Orwell thought. Personally I can’t find interest in them, but I’m sure who loves the genre can like also them. The artwork is cool: b-movie style, on the front and on the inside, with the lyrics and the credits putted into ipotetic posters of fanta-horror films.
