Come recita anche il titolo di questo split, le due band qui presenti rappresentano davvero un nuova ventata nell'emisfero hardcore melodico. Entrambe provenienti dalla Svezia, le due formazioni di questo disco sono composte da membri già navigati nella scena internazionale. Gli Enemy Alliance nascono infatti dalle ceneri dei Satanic Surfers con l'aggiunta di componenti dei Venerea. Il loro è un hardcore melodico molto influenzato dalle esperienze passate e le melodie orecchiabili di "Vultures" o "Sacrifice" dicono già tutto sulle potenzialità della band. L'impegno politico di brani come "Gevernment subsidized ghetto" e "Apparatus of repression" è l'altro aspetto fondamentale dello stile degli Enemy Alliance, lato che li accomuna ai The Indecision Alarm. La seconda band che completa lo split è infatti orientata verso temi sociali. La sua nascita è dovuta ad un'idea di quattro ragazzi di una piccola città svedese chiamata Katrineholm, e prende forma sull'impronta lasciata dagli Adhesive, la precedente band di ¾ degli Indecision Alarm. Il loro è un hardcore melodico che si ispira sia al sound hc dei Propagandhi sia a quello più punkrock dei Face to Face. Brani come "New brooms vs old doctrines" e "Rod of iron" sono la prova della rinascita di una formazione che ha lasciato il segno negli anni 90.

As the title of this split says, the two bands here rappresent really a new wind in the melodic hc world Both f them from Sweden, the two bands are formed by members of past famous bands of the international scene. Enemy Alliance born from the split up of Satanic Surfers, with the increase of mermbers from Venerea. They play a melodic hc with a lot of influences from their past bands and the likely melodies of “Vultures” or “Sacrifice” just say everything about what the band can do. The political aspect of songs like “Government subsidized ghetto” and “Apparatus of repression” is the other important aspect of the EA style, who can be find also in the Indecision Alarm. The second band who complete the split cd is also oriented to sicial themes. Its borned has been made by 4 guys from a small city of Sweden called Katrineholm and takes form by the fottprint given by the Adhesive, the past band of ¾ of TIA. Their music is a melodic hc inspired by the hc of Propagandhi and the punk rock of Face to Face. Songs as “New brooms vs old doctrines” and “Rod of Iron” are the confirmation of the re-birth of a band who has signed the 90’s
